Powder Coating
Powder coating finishes have long been used to provide a tough, high performance finish to alloy wheels. It’s sprayed on to the wheel as a traditional paint, but settles on the surface dry rather than wet.
It’s not until the powder coating is heat-treated that the paint flows out of and forms a gel over the surface of the wheel. Our technicians then lacquer it to provide protection against scratches, damage etc.
As with all of our alloy finishes, we thoroughly prepare, clean and seal all of our specialist coatings to ensure ongoing performance, colour integrity and protection over time.
